The Stoystown Volunteer Fire Company's Fire Cash 300 will be held at the Stoystown Legion Banquet Hall. Doors open at 5pm ~ Dinner 6pm ~ Entertainment to follow. See a member for tickets ($25 Donation) Hope to see you there!

Vehicle Accident
10:07pm On Thanksgiving evening, the station was dispatched for a weather related incident on Rt30 and E Main St. Crews arrived and found a two vehicle accident on E Main St at the Rt30 Bridge. While crews were assessing the accident, a third vehicle wasn't able to stop on the icy/snow covered road and struck one of the other original vehicles that was involved in the first accident. Our crew was able to scramble out of the way of the third vehicle avoiding responder getting injured. No injuries from any of the accidents. Crews shut down the road and roads around the accident until PADOT was able to arrive and salt/cinder the roadways. Creas then cleared at 10:48pm 2025-393
Reported Structure Fire
12:22am The station along with mutual aid companies were distahced for a reported structure fire located at 216 W Main St in Stoystown Borough. Chief 604 arrived and found all occupants were evacuated and only light smoke inside. Chief was advised that there was a cooking fire that a home occupant had extinguished prior to FD's arrival. Chief cancelled all mutual aid companies and had the Engine crew ventilate using positive pressure fans. No fire spread. fire was contained to the skillet on the stove. Possible Vehicle Accident
02:02am Station assisted Hooversville with a possible vehicle accident on Whistler Rd near Folly Ln. 911 received a automatic crash notification from an iPhone of a possible crash. Units searched the area and found nothing. Units then cleared. 2025-390

07:05pm Station dispatched to assist Hooversville with a possible house fire on Ridge Rd near School Rd. Crews arrived to find several large controlled burns. Crews cleared. 2025-384

Reported House Fire
07:49pm Station assisted Somerset Regional (Friedens) with a reported house fire located at 2835 Stoystown Rd. Crews arrived and found there wasn't any fire however a malfunctoning furnace. After assisting the homeowner all units cleared. 2055-375
